Why cant all jockeys be like this

I enjoy these photos as much as the next guy but I have to shake my head in bemusement at the motivation behind them;

Women are FOREVER complaining that they are not taken seriously when competing in historically male activities. Yet they seem to fall into this pointless behavioural trap every single time.

By way of comparison - What would we be commenting if it were Fallon, Moore, McCoy or Dettori poncing around in high end lingerie in the weighing room? Right - we would be laughing at them! And asking what parading about pouting has to do with winning a Derby or a Gold Cup.

This is simple sexploitation and more the fool her for being conned or co-erced into it. And if we believe this falls under the heading of legitimate or desireable marketing of the sport then we are also delusional.

Wouldn't she rather be remembered for her riding ability? Or is that skill so ordinary that she resorts to the pin up option for her 15 minutes of fame?

With respect - not great advocacy for female riders.
