Returns to race riding on the 2nd of next month after another forced lay off and will be traveling to PE for Gav Smith from the 5th..welcome back bud.

If I may ask how did this accident occur ? Was the horse also injured ?

It was just a freak accident where the horse he was riding jibbed away from another horse, dislodging Wei Xiang who landed underneath the horse. He suffered severe injuries to his neck and died instantly. The horse suffered no injury at all.

That is correct. Be racing on 14 April at Turffontein. Having a little get together at Kelvin's (Winners Bar) after racing - the best way to see as many friends as possible as I'll only be back for a short while. See you all there.
