I've had a drink so excuse me a little but this is what really p1sses me off... I had a place multiple, to win a small amount but just done to hopefully keep things ticking over...
Race 2 KINEMATIC COUNTESS Fixed Place 0.22
Race 3 INN ON THE SQUARE Fixed Place 0.19
Race 5 FURIOUS DANCER Fixed Place 1.35
Race 6 UNCLE TOMMY Fixed Place 0.24
Race 7 ROLL CALL Fixed Place 0.86

The whole bet becomes entirely farking pointless when FD is scratched. I won peanuts on it and for me, in hindsight, it is definitely a bet not worth the outlay for the potential winnings if FD does not run, there is no value to it. If I had known FD would be scratched I would never have done the bet. I simply can't understand how the horse gets to the post and is then declared a NR. To me it is entirely unacceptable. Fortunately, I get my money back but to be honest, I don't care, I would rather have run and lost. It is just one example of 1000s where I do a bet and basically I can only break about level or lose. I would never have done the bet if I had known FD was going to be a NR. IMHO, its a farking joke. Let them run once they are at the post unless there is a chance of serious injury, I would rather watch and lose than win virtually nothing for my outlay.

You dtill got more than double your money mate even with FD unplaced so to me a winning bet is way better than just your money back or nothing... Treat this like shares... Your investment doubled in value in one day WOW!!

Any investor/broker would be going ape shit telling me how good a broker he is if that happened to him in one day...

WE HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY EVERY DAY!!

I had an ATC place on all my 1st choices and even with FD scratched I am smiling :D

Mindset mate... Hit them hard again tomorrow!!

Dont worry - utter garbage!Too much wine this evening. I was looking at a differnet line item to the 1 that paid. The one with the 2 scratched runners paid only the wins on the 3rd horse. Pffft!

Loopy (why do we always debate when I have had a drink ;) ... I understand you and I hear you but you have to appreciate you play much bigger stakes than many of us. I am not interested in turning R10 into R20. No disrespect but for you it might turn R1000 into R2000, and therefore still be a decent bet and you are going to be happy. I don't have the money to play that kind out of outlay. I am simply trying to build a platform to cover potential losses on other bets. I usually bet to win x amount, once that becomes unreachable the bet is purely a recovery mission but relatively pointless. That is not the way I like to bet, that is all I am saying and these late scratchings can cause (me and I suspect) many a punter to be left in a position where they lose it all or win an amount of near total insignificance.

Is it because
1) You are always drinking or
2) we are always debating
mate?? :D

Would love to have a few with you one day and talk about Ziets ... (:D

Seriously, again... what I would like to say to you is mindset change.... and think about this one with a Cognac... or a Klippies if you have not reached Cognac maturity yet.

Turn R10 into R20 today, R20 into R40 tomorrow, R40 into R80 on Saturday... you will be surprised that 1 MONTH of discipline will get you playing for WAY MORE than R1000 a race mate... DISCIPLINE DISCIPLINE DISCIPLINE.

R10, R20, R40, R80, R160, R320, R640, R1280, R2560, R5120, R10240, R20480, R40960, R81920, R163840 {puts away the calculater}

In 14 days you will be playing with R163840 in your bank... I will do a deal with you .. I know you are an ENGLANDER So you can afford a starting kitty of R100-00

I will PM you a bet/few every day on exactly what to play and lets see where you are in 14 days... then you send me a commission ... you do the bet BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE THE DISCIPLINE... and I am going to trust you that I get the commission (tu) >:D<

Deal??

PS: if you have a twitter account find me on @LogicValue it's FREE >:D< {Remembering that Signature that dissapeared}
