100%correct, they choose to fly an additional presenter in for a PE meeting when Gav is more than capable and then offer someone as informative as Darryl a R50 per shift increase with once again the "take it or leave" attitude, how can decisions like this be tolerated???

To be honest i actually enjoyed him being there on friday...Gavin the one to help punters find winners, and the freshness to the TV which Andrew brought i think was much needed. Very nice input he gives with regards to the breeding side which i have not seen from any presenter. Getting involved with Karis and Muzi sharing a few jokes and asking questions beside the "anything else you fancy today?" question, (which mostly doesn't even get asked by half the presenters). Even as far as asking Aldo about his rides for the following day.
I personally enjoyed having him presenting and doing the winning interviews especially. And with regards to him being corrected on handicapping etc, this can actually be a good thing. What about all those who don't exactly understand the science of handicapping, and just letting the presenters assume everyone knows how it works, does not help those who may not be up to scratch with that.

There is a difference between a presenter and a form reader...
Bon is one and Venter is the other but Bon is also a horseman who rides himself and can spot what other presenters might miss
It's not a case of "babysitting", it's TeamWork, something that seems to be lacking in our industry.
Also it's easier to talk to someone in front of a camera than to speak to the camera.

Reinstating Shaheen imo does not excuse the diabolical decision to let him go in the first place...too many bad decisions in the short time KR has been in charge ......
