Why are we in the top 2/3 in the world in our other top team sports and so bad in the sport that the majority of our Country plays?:S

And people sit watching this bullshit. My money is still on us not scoring two goals in the group stage. this next game will be an eye opener and probably a helluva lot more exciting to watch.... which means about as exciting as watching paint dry. {pukes into Checkers bag} ... Football is about the hype .... NOT the actual game.

I took this off News24 and pretty much sums it up imo...

Why Bafana Bafana are so bad.
Skills, innovation, strategy of a player has nothing to do with overseas or local player. That is an inherent skill. Playing overseas only enhances your inherent skills and gives a player international experience. South African players, compared to other African countries lack the inherent skills required for football. On Sat, those SA footballers were just aimlessly kicking the ball, there was no strategic plan of where to kick it and for what purpose. The blame should be with South African Soccer Administrators for their lack of developing grassroot talent. Compare the SA administration with Zambian administration which managed to get the level of soccer up to winning ways after the national team's air crush disaster.
