Yip the boy is getting heavier - he does ride the juv at 58 - according to the Computaform his riding weight is now 57 kg's

Pity no Sand racing today.

Still there looks like some nice runners today and I think the exotics will pay.

My best bet on the card comes up in Race 3 being The Mutineer, he was green on debut and ran an excellent race losing by 3,25 lengths to subsequent winner Casey Novak. He beat Stavinsky by a short head next time out Stavinsky won by over 5 lengths. If he makes any improvement from his debut I make him very hard to beat. The only danger I make is the Woodruff first timer Triplicator as I see he has the stable jockey aboard and could be anything.

I also fancy like many others Wylie Hall today if taking to the jump in trip must be very hard to beat. The one worry is that several of these horses are trying the trip for the first and could improve over the extra. I fancy a bit of Kalamata Baby to improve over the trip and form a nice swinger with Wylie Hall.

My third in my patent will be in Race 9 Cante Libre, in July and August her Turf and Sand form was similar, subsequently she has improved significantly on the Sand and will probably after her last win be off a 72 on the Sand, off a 55 Turf rating she could have this field stone cold if having improved with racing since July and be under rated on the Turf. 6/1 could well prove good value on her.

My looney for the day comes up in Race 7 being Al Bling, as inconsistent as they come, but he seems to prefer going around the turn at the Vaal opposed to running up the straight. A repeat of the 3rd behind Smart Royal would bring him into therace with a chance and at 50/1 and 11/1 a first 3, is probably worth a few Rand.

wins wylie hall..each way antarctic call...worried about the short favourite in the antarctic call race..smart royal has him cold at their last meeting but it may have been a flash run as smart royal not at all consistent

word of warning... I CANNOT get Striker right when I am ON he is GONE .... I am balls to the walls on him today... need him to have four winners ... so pasop !!

Some help required.. if a couple of you okes wuld be sokind as to take the field in race 8 in your exotics I would appreciate it... cos then I can banker the favourite. That is a tuff one.
