Peekay and 2cents, it was Forest Digger . Wayne got off in the parade ring after being abused by the trainer and got fined then. They kissed and made up again but this time looks like the end !!

Adrian sent me this message on facebook,i thought maybe i should post..

Adrian Kuschinski
Mitch Wiese

I read sone ugly write up's about my good friend Mitch on african betting clan, Mitch and i did our COMPULSORY National 2yr Service @ Kimberley in '86 to '87, that is 26 yrs ago, had good discipline and became good friends, i saw today that Camden Borough could not win a Novice Plate last Wed and today wins A Pinnacle Plate beating a Champion PE 8 time winner, Mitch was assistanj to Ralph Rixon and Herman Brown, snr, that is ample and good experience,, why go on with hiring and firing, and other things, eish, remember Lizard's Desire, champion, Mitch is TOP CLASS, remember that, i rest my case !

If I am reading all this correctly, it is ok for Adrian to be extremely "ugly" about Wayne but a few words here supporting Wayne and, to an extent, anti-Mitch, are "ugly"??? I honestly don't really see anything so bad having been said about Mitch. I am sure Wayne has ridden many a top race winner too so I find that argument (above) strange and irrelevant. I don't know Adrian obviously and (as usual!) have no axe to grind, but it strikes me as all being extremely hypocrictical. The big rant followed by the seemingly deep wounds caused by quite tame comments about hiring/firing of jocks seems to me more befitting of a baby kicking away in a pram shaking his rattle around. If you can't take a little backlash don't throw poisonous arrows.

You may not care about it, but I think you have done yourselves far more harm than good with all this. You talk about ugly comments Adrian, but it was actually your own ugly comments about Wayne that provoked the comments about Mitch. If you are such a good friend of his, I would suggest thinking a little before you speak next time? Certainly my level of respect for Mitch has fallen as a result of this "episode" which you instigated... (with friends like you who needs enemies springs to mind! lol ;) )

Hopefully to show I am in no way bias, I would also like to say that I find it quite refreshing to hear of a trainer who hires/fires jocks if he doesn't think they are riding his horses well. Lots of us, if not all, moan about the quality of some jocks and sometimes question their desire to ride a horse full-out for the best position etc. For me, its actually nice to hear of a trainer who seemingly wants to get the best place etc every time. There may often be a small reality check required, but the intention at least sounds good to me (tu)

PE's "Champion 8 time winner" Fly Emiates is actually a 5 time winner who quite clearly ran below par when one considers that he received only 0,5 kg penalty for a 3,25 beating of CB in the run before, maybe the Frenchman gave it a miss ..... :S
