Mussoorie in fight to survive

Mike Bass good three year is fighting for his life in a Cape Town veterinary hospital after falling victim to a serious attack of colic

Bass said on Wednesday that he worked well on Monday morning but that afternoon he went down with colic and the vets are now battling to save him

Any updates?

I heard last night he had laminitis and the prognosis wasnt good....

Its sad to know that, its a horse with lots of potential. Hope it has a speedy recovery. Kit Kat I know its a different thread, however, it seems that you know about Duncan Howells horses. Any idea how the prep went for Via Africa

Marsh Shirtliff (the owner) rated it as his top youngster. In unrelated news National Emblem was put down after sever colic. It was his second colic in 2 weeks. After the first he went in for a op and seemed to be recovering. He will be missed at Klawervlei but he lived a great life.
