That is true but the effort to get a clear run was dismal............jock looked paralysed ..........who was up eventually?

I only picked up the ride on her 5mins before the bell rang!
she didnt jump on terms after a long wait inside and had nowhere to go as 3 gaps closed on me as tired front horses were running around.

Chippy no execuses miss D was full of running, you gave her a shocking ride, and cost punters plenty by not getting her into the pa,bookies must thing you great. It is a sad day for owners when they could see that their horse was ready for a long awaited win plus the trainer did his best to ensure that the horse was good and ready, now I see why so many guys are fed up with this game, only one word "shocking",and that's from my small percentage as an owner, and my pocket.

@Zoro...I think you're a bit harsh on Chippy...once in that position there was not much that he could do....He might have done better to switch out and run further back for a better price next time...(happens all the time)
bad luck all round to the connections and Chippy...
will probably win at 5/10 next time.....

Zoro, I agree a bit harsh on Chris. When the horses are tiring and hanging in and out it is very hard to get through. These are not top horses and are mostl justy looking for the winning post and for Chris to push into a gap that will probably close is not a great idea. Horse and jockey could come down. If you on a top horse( not saying Miss D is not!) then when you ask the acceleration is there and you can get into the gap before it closes but in this type of field there are very few if any that turn it on like that.
