Hexen, PE will be getting an all-weather track at Fairview. Dont know when it will come into being though. Average/ moderate horses seem to migrate to PE, above Vaal, from Natal for a better chance of future success. Hope you make the right choice. Never easy !!

I would strongly consider either David Niewenhuisen, not sure he is at the vaal though or alternatively I would consider the lass who always has Swanepoel riding for her....can't think of her name. Its not Kruger its the other one.....

Ah, came to me...Heather Adamson. It seems to me she takes care of her horses and they don't run badly at all.

Also not sure she is at the vaal though :)

Horse does not need to be stabled at the Vaal to be able to run in the sand races?

So if you are looking / hoping that the horse will like the sand, have a look at the trainer's log for Vaal sand racing .....;)

And Tommy, Dave Niewenhuizen trains from Turffontein (tu)

David's at Turffontein, small stable with 11 horses racing, I RECOMMEND him as his always gets results with moderate horses which change stables to his, Turffontein has 2 very different race tracks to try on and can race at the Vaal sand too.

It amazes me why clanners don't give David Niewenhuisen horses, not just a good guy but a underrated trainer imo..(tu)

maybe because he aint a bullshiter or a piscat or a comedian or all three...it amazes me that mr ferraris doesnt get the biggest owners in africa as he is pound for the pound the best trainer horseman in this country and is the last of a dying breed of horsemen which will never be seen again
