Absolutely delighted for Azzie. A humble man.
I hope PP is back to his best.

Well done to stable
Horse is back to its winning distance
Hope it stays to this distance and no summer cup and met plans
Not the strongest of fields tho 2nd and 3rd horse form is dismal
Good luck to the connections

Wouldn't mind owning a tale of those two 'dismal' performers :
Very difficult race to rate imo

Very difficult to assess where horses are at this stage of the season as the better horses are aimed at bigger races and no where near peak fitness. Should have a better picture come the Charity Mile next month.

looking at their times Ilha Bela would have walked the race against the boys.....i dont think the form will hold up and all the boys will have to improve alot if they want a say against any decent older horses...last years 3yo boys very poor ....hope some of the Silvano's improved alot with age to give the 5yo+ a go.....

According to TABGOLD Ilha Bela's time was 87.68 and Potala Palace's time was 87.73 - not a big difference :S

@frodo
my concern is MR 96 97 and 96 mares and MR93 94 and 88 colts all 6 running less than 4lengths behind and not receiving weight from ilha or potala .... all 6 did not have a flash in the pan run....just saying...do not rely on this formline against top older (5yo+) on the highveld....
