If Borego Lady repeats her second start she will win - I think 5-10 a fixed place first 4 is a bet

Im yet to see a jockey 'mess up a start' by losing 4 lengths at the start. Yes, I agree jockeys can miss the kick, or start as you say losing half a length or so but 4 lengths? Surely that means the horse jumped slow?

Hi Mark. I see the horse started losing L's 2 races back. How come that happens after having 9 races ? Did the horse get hurt at the starting stalls or scared of something? Would appreciate your input.

Hi OR. Unfortunately some horses after having a good jumping history get into a habit of jumping slow. A big factor contributing to this is horses hiding a problem, knowing that when the gates open its gonna hurt. Once a horse gets into this habit its very hard to get it out of them, Imperial State will probably continue jumping slow until she is re schooled and gains confidence if fully sound. Iv'e known horses that start from jumping slowly to eventually refusing to jump.
