Challenging card today imo - not sure how much rain fell at Turffontein - according to Tabgold only 5.7 mils in the last 24 hours and the pen is at 21 - I just have the feeling that the track may turn out on the soft side, which would suit some horses more than others - so maybe check the going after the first race.
R3: Does look a 2 horse race imo between Battle Flame and Golden Ring (not much between them on a line through Gothic) - Flag Parade (cast a shoe last time) could be a factor as well and Current Event can improve on a decent debut to place
R4: First choice for me is Captain Haddock, who ran to much higher than a 79 last time; but for the P6 the Tarry coupling is a must as both Beta and Troubled Waters like this trip and would not mind a softish track - Beat the Odds also has fair form this trip and is well in with the 4 kg claim, so has a place chance at least. Imo Rock of Arts has something to find (preparing to duck the egg) at these weights.
R5: Again the Tarry coupling is a must for the P6, Paintyourface is best at this track and despite a 5 point penalty for his last win should be thereabouts again; Amatol also has some fair form over this trip and can place from a wide draw and for a real roughie maybe have a look at Shaft - who tries the trip and his MR has come down 20 points + he gets another 8 points claim
R6: Very tough race imo - Tequila Sunrise could be good enough, but no value imo - 3yr old giving weight away to some seasoned campaigners over ground - imo the other 3 yr old Balse has the better form; out of the older runners it is possible that DG's Boy may now be looking for this trip and would not be bothered by a softish track so could be a danger together with Venture and Dreamy Times - imo Gentleman Jack has something to find at these weigths.
R7: Does not get any easier in this filles and mares handicap; Markofdistinction does look well weighted here and is my narrow first choice from Atlantic Oak who would prove hard to beat if coming back to her best form. Sky Pirate slightly out at the weights on official MR and MJ may also have to put up some overweight, but could still be good enough to place if she gets the trip; for a roughie to run into the quartet have a look at Monpazier who has won her only race over this trip; Sacred Temple is not suited to this track imo, but has a place chance
R8: Slightly less competitive imo; not a lot between Follow the Piper, Paschal Moon, Princess Lily and London Dipper, who must be the value at current odds
R9: Lots to like at the weights about Kailani; won her maiden over this trip, finishing in front of Cochineal and now faces that one on 9kg better terms - on a difficult card I am personnally going to take a chance and bank her in a small P6.
Enjoy (tu)

Tom Lukhele has 5 wins from his last 15 starts, placed in a total of 9 of the 15. He rides
Sky Chase in the 1st
3 b f
Jet Master - Jezebel's Wings by Al Mufti
Career Record : W0 P0 R4 Stakes:R0.
I'm hoping this 66/1 perd can turn its form around, anyways my compo selection to win but really just hoping for a placing (

Totally agree with Frodo regarding Kailani
8/1 is a great ew bet carrying that weight and with that draw

Also fancy this one, in a work rider's race most would ask, but this is an absolute nightmare of a card.

special debut by JET BELLE - REPLAY
the others need to be spot on or she'll follow up - 3/1 is worth a go

Played the double Ruby Chimes, whom i think will go close on exposed form, with Fall Of Light. Reason i'm going with this one is because of the jockey booking. Lerena does ride for SJ Gray and if Pearl Bay was the right one, i think Gavin would have been on this one, just my gut feeling.
