If gambling was fair, you should be paid double as you have played a multiple.......twice the risk should = twice the reward and so forth and same applies if a treble has been selected. Just goes to show you and i remain winning loosers!!!!!!!!!(td)

You guys also need to grow up. Decide if you are playing for fun, or playing to make money. If you playing for money, you need to consider the advice give by A Beyer In one of his books which goes something like: anyone can pick a winner/s, but we spent nearly all our time available on the picking and hardly any on HOW we going to use our finds.
An example was a mate who really liked Blueridge Mountain on Met day, and also Capetown Noir. After days of preaching the same sermon he finally decided to bank both in a jackpot with 2 fields and along came Martial Eagle in the Met at 75/1.
Beyer suggests we leave a much greater percentage of our time considering how to maximise our plays. Decide for yourself if you just want to keep contributing to the pool, then carry on listening to people who are nett losers at gambling...like racing officials and almost everyone on TV.

Here we go again and would have to say Sheza, as a regular visitor/ contributor to the site, if you had taken in 10% of the threads and logical information posted you must be aware that taking an ATC bet using any tote structure is NOT a clever thing to do.

I would suggest every battling punter on the site reads this thread until you can repeat it off by heart .........and then repeat it every morning before placing your bets for the day.

You guys must not keep making the same mistake of believing that tote betting is for the public.
They want to get rid of bookmakers but I get better odds with the bookies everytime, including fixed odds on doubles and a wider range of exotics. Yes, Yes, I know that the jackpot and pick six are exclusive to the tote and they know it, that is why they take a bigger percentage commission on exotic bets like these.
