CnC, now you are sure of your facts again aren't you?
A little clue... "some of the players bought by United in the past 4 years"

the two sets of reserves for this match would make a very good premier league side
Pantilimon, Azpilicueta,Kolarov, Terry, Lescott, Oscar, Nasri,Tevez, Torres,Dzeko and Sinclair. Wow what a line up.

they say that the EPL is the best in the world but what a poor match that was today between the English champions and the European Champions. The Milan derby has had it all.

I can sense the jealousy seeping through your veins Engles..
Now in your slightly addled brain do you call a club big if
A.they were successful pre war
B.they won something with players that lived in the locality to ground
C.any club who haven't spent more than 10 shillings
D.a club that spends less than they take through the turnstiles
Engles Big Club League
1.Accrington Stanley
2.Corinthian Casuals
3.Preston North End
4.Bradford Park Avenue
5.Royal Engineers
6.York
7.Rochdale
If being a big club is what floats your boat then so be it,but with United being so successful I'm surprised trophies aren't more important to you.
It sounds as though you have a size problem, maybe you had a bad experience in your youth.

Spot on Dave lol... I have made my feelings on what and what does not constitute a "big" club a number of times.
And the jealousy thing... you answered itself yourself with the trophy comment... I'm jealous of no team or club and very proud of my own and feel very lucky that it was they that found their way into my "system"
Tough for the first couple of decades but they sure have made up for it since.
Now stop getting wound up by such obvious nonsense
