My take on long distance races is put the field....most likely to get an upset in these marathon races where pace and staying power sometimes throws up strange results. Even Flavio may have a chance. It works most times especially in the UK.

There has been 519 races in KZN this season of which 165 were won by favourites 31.8%

the favourties are getting shorter but can`t see any claims for the odds on chances...

Crimson Quest has been claimed in Genuine Silvers race but not sure of amounts etc.
