Although course form is usually an advantage at Cheltenham it is interesting to note that 8 of the last 10 winners of the Neptune had never run at Cheltenham before, which augurs well for Pont Alexandre. In fact only one of today's runners have run at Cheltenham, the second favourite The New One, who has won over the course and distance.
