in my opinion the presenter who does his home work stand out from those that dont. the ones who are profesional and clearly do home work is jason dedekind, daryl maree when he is there, gavin venter, vicky from cape town. the guys who are the worst is rod macurdey who think this is the comedy show not the racing channel, paul laferty who take top 4 in beting only and andrew bon who dont have the clue.

how much of an influence does an on course presenter really have???
info about 1st timers helps, even horses coming of a rest. but in general punters dont follow the selections race by race.
most times they share a screen with an overseas race with the punter impatiently waiting for the commentary to come through.
programmes like USO are more value adding as there are no distractions.

Alterego

welcome boet.
I usually "sus" the people that I think are worth listening to, the rest I mute.
What help is it anyway, giving info whist the horses are loading.
