Had yet to look at R7 and R8 Shrek and... wait for it... I can't help but agree with you! lol I really must have turned into an idiot! Domani does look potential value. Not sure it beat much and first time out the maidens which I don't like but at 25s its worth a couple of rand and have used it as my small e/w double horse. I actually like Greg's Here I Am though... best of luck with both yours Greg, have done a double.
My cursory look selections, because I too have found Cape racing very hard to predict over the last few months particularly (and have made many a mention about Magi's observations re finding trouble etc)... and WE, sorry to say but yes, I have even found Kimberley easier this year!!
E/Ws use 'em or probably better, bin 'em
R4 8 Saint Deportista
R5 4 Barossa Valley
R6 1 The Plunderer
R7 9 Here I Am
R8 2 Lady Bizhub
Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Yes Englander, us idiots must stick together.
I also like Here I Am and included it in my PA. Not getting too heavily involved today with the Sand racing coming up tomorrow. (tu)

I am actually with you Shrek. I am finding it harder and harder to identify my "idiot" selections, probably because of lots of different factors but the consistency of some horses has become a "joke' especially when at short odds and the turnaround in form on some tracks has just left me completely "mystified". I wish sometimes I had Loopy's dedication in identifying intent as I am sure he is correct in a lot of cases. Good for him (tu)
Vaal sand has probably been the most consistent in terms of repeated performances by horses. I spent about 30 minutes on today's card, I am going to start looking at tomorrow now. And all this probably means.... tomorrow will be a disaster of a day! lol
