R1. Kremlin Captain was running on when finishing 4th ahead of Another Idea who won next time out beating Rajistan by a L. The extra will suite Kremlin Captain.
R2. Both Playingtheenemy & Wind Glider ran 6 & 5 L behind the rated Red Ray. The formline from Red Ray/Wind Glider has worked out well.
R3. Don't know how Tribal Code will do over 1200. Best run was over 1800. Now a gelding.Royal Var never far off & blinkers on. Danzey Green ran a fair run last time and could place in this average maiden race. There's money for Sangster son of High Chaparral.
R4. There was money for Delta Dancer in her 1st. There's a bit of money again and the formline is strong behind and the winner Flying Ally.Up in trip. Diamond Tiger had excuses last time out (against Chanel 5 & Princess Creo) Karl Retains ride.
R5. Scaky Phane.....gone for a 8 months. Can be anything. Readytogorightnow, If he produces a run like he had 1.2L behind Chave De Oura, race over. But Gallas could be a swinger, trifecta horse. Had excuses last time but consistent and the formline behind Victory Cruise not bad. Domani could be in the top 4.
R6.C/D winner, Solar Blaze, drawn well, nice formline behind Princess Salme, and should be in top 3. Include. Appy Smitsdorff a real tryer. Very competitive. Include as many as possible.
R7. Mission house. Had the beating of Dark Yourney (1800) that won since beating Experience counts. Not an easy race
R8. Coltrane. C/d winner. Very consistent. My p/a banker
Enjoy

Racing To Win up for Mile challenge
Saturday, 11 August, 2012, 1:34pm
Alan Aitken
Hong Kong's Asian Mile Challenge leg, the Group One Champions Mile is being targeted for the racehorse many believe to be Australia's best, the Sydney-trained Racing To Win.
The John O'Shea-trained four-year-old has raced only 14 times for nine wins and four seconds, with his only failure in finishing second-last after a wide tough run when stepped up to 2,040 metres in the W.S. Cox Plate last October.
A four-time Group One winner, Racing To Win is unbeaten at 1,600m in three attempts, all Group One races, the Doncaster Handicap, George Main Stakes and Epsom Handicap, and started odds-on in the last two of them.
However, O'Shea explained that the Champions Mile assignment at Sha Tin on April 29 is not part of an overall Asian Mile Challenge
campaign.

Australia: Five-time Group 1 winner Racing To Win has been retired after suffering a tendon injury in Hong Kong last month.
Trained by John O'Shea, the popular grey won 13 of his 30 starts, amassing more Aus$3.7 million (£2m) prizemoney.

Doing a write-up for a dodgem cars meeting??? :
but a good effort OR (tu) and is deserving of a little support
-D I am actually in agreement with much of OR's comments and certainly think races 6 and 7 are very open and there may be a couple of other surprises against the more fancied runners.
R1 Of the raced runners I prefer Kremlin Captain but would not be surprised if a first timer wins.
R2 Of the raced runners I prefer Playingtheenemy but would not be surprised if a first timer wins.
R3 Danzey Green e/w. Albeit in a workriders, DG finished 6 lengths ahead of Royal Var behind Domani. May just be one to overlook for RV but if that run heralds a return to form for DG then 14s seems fair e/w value to me
R4 The three that finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th behind Eye Of The Panther - Chanel Five, Princess Creo and Diamond Tiger - all have fairly wide draws. That could give an advantage to Delta Dancer, who is drawn nicely at 3 and was backed from 16s to 6s when finishing 3rd behind Flying Alley on debut. Page One, who was 5 lengths further back, was beaten only 3.85 lengths when finishing 6th in the race won by Eye OTP. Of those from the Eye OTP race, I prefer Diamond Tiger who finished only 2.8 lengths behind despite a saddle slip.
R5 see OR's comments. I'll chance Gallus e/w
R6 Quite a few have run against each other. Trying to take them all into consideration, along with weight, track and draw etc, I ended up with Abbey Creek e/w with the two Plummer horses perhaps filling the places. At current prices I certainly think Bonny Dancer is worth an idiots e/w back at Kenilworth from the 1 box. Abbey Creek's last two runs were both at Durbanville and if you ignore those, her efforts at Kenilworth immediately prior to those were pretty decent (though overall course form is poor), including a 1.35 length 3rd to Freddy's Sister, with 2nd fav Solar Blaze 0.5 lengths further back and, although SB is now better drawn, she is 4.5kgs worse off.
R7 A very open race imo but like OR, I opted for Mission House e/w with Spring Beauty and Control Tower for places.
R8 Taking a chance that the distance will be ideal for Noble Star and think he is better value e/w than the fav to win.
Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

High cloud with a fairly strong N/w wind and spitting a bit. There will be rain, but I think by race time things should be ok. Lekker slaap manne.
