Confession time, i played the double Icy Winter Air X Captaincy (R2), purely because it's the same trainer, jockey, owner combinations. I do believe the favourite in the 2nd will be hard to beat, but here's to hoping.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

from the JR website
ICY WINTER AIR:
Goes very, very well.
CAPTAINCY:
Goes very well but is a big softie.
EASTERN FRONT:
Eastern Front galloped very well at Kenilworth a short while back. He is a lovely, big strong horse and I would like to think he is a top 3 or 4 finisher here.
GOLCONDA:
He is coming in off a good mark so let's hope for the best.
HOWDOULIKEMENOW:
Taking on What A Winter and Cap Alright looks a very large ask. Hopefully he can run into some money but let’s hope he does not get a penalty if he does. He is working and moving well.
BIG BIRD:
This is one of those funny races where it is a competitive handicap. One always feels that horses like Big Bird are better off carrying 60Kg’s in a weaker race than a low weight in a race like this. But let’s see how we go. He is working well and is looking good and I while definitely not a good thing, I would like to think he can earn here.

hi guys, you shouldnt follow ramsden comments at all. i think we should very much appreciate his transparency, this should not be understood as critics, but he is simply tto optimistic to say something useful for punters. according to his optimism, he has 5 winners and 10 places a day. even in cases where he is not too optimistic, that does mean something either

Trying to close a double : Empyreal Song X (the much tried) London Theatre - all the fancied horses are drawn wide, hoping the appie can keep her going this time round
