Lily's rush represents good we value to me....ran against fairly decent sorts at greyville last two runs when drawn very badly, must be worth more of a chance now with a better draw and natural improvement

My R3 jottings... Golden Slipper may represent the Cormack/Drier combination and comes from the 1 box but this is second run after a rest, she weakened on her only previous attempt at the distance and does seem to run best with some give in the ground. In Full Flo has a wide draw, has only finished top 3 in "wet" conditions and possibly also has questions to answer over the distance. Roy's Royalty gets blinkers and a good draw but does have 5 lengths to find on IFF on their run behind Reliable over 1450. Sweet Lily also has a chance, albeit slim imo. My vote goes to Duchess of York, she has also only placed in "wet" but has had some very poor draws and has run creditably despite that. Stays the distance, jock/trainer in good form, finally gets a good draw with the 2 box and was 3rd in her only course run when drawn 12/14. Selection... Duchess of York x In Full Flo x Roy's Royalty

One would think they would have a game plan, like setting the pace, considering the other big names in the race were returning from breaks - stretch them out, let them start blowing. Last time BS won at Greyville, Cormack was at work entering the straight because of the pace - maybe a blank moment
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Hold your horse with Fly at em. Could win but prepped for later race.
