Was the sample taken before the race, or do they routinely take blood when a horse is euthenased ?

At least they wont have to return the stake money .

I believe they do tissue samples on dead horses - Somwhere there is a tread started by me about the Spies runners having too much racing - Don't want to pre empt judgement but if it is true then very dissapointed

If a horse is put down on course by the vets a blood sample is taken. Sad indeed if you are right
