Cherry on the top has beaten plenty she haven't beaten them but she has played with them so I don't see which horse can beat her and Mr Ferraris can train a 3 year old filly to win the July with his eyes closed maybe should remember who taught mdk how to train!!

Mr Ferraris rates Cherry as best fillie he has trained

In COTT last run on lengths behind would have beaten Love Struck by over 2,5 lengths on the bit. She will have a massive chance in the July and I don't see too many strong older horses they likes of Pomodoro, Jackson and Beach Beauty being the main protagonists.

Winzip lovestruck is a very decent horse,3lenghts behind ctn in the cape guiness and then winning the politcian stakes. I think form like that is good enough to win a group1 anywer in the country, jhb form is very strong at this time of year. Another point to be made is that cott should win the tripple tiara and if so she would represent the same form of igugu going into the july,so wen u say she can't win it I'm a bit supprised.

When Ipitombe and Igugu won their respective July's, they both won their lead up races against fillies in facile fashion, i think we all agree COTT is repeating the trend (hopefully she goes on to win the Triple Tiara), the big questions, what would be a good ante-post price e.g. 5/1, 7/1 or bigger, and, what is the maximum weight she could be allocated? All the handicapping boffs, your views will be appreciated.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I think if anything COTT has been visually even more impressive than Igugu ,and the fields were not any stronger when Igugu won the Tiara

Sheza, there is not one person on this planet who knows who will win the July, not even Mr Ferraris. If Mr Ferraris "knows" then he would only have one horse in his stable.

It is merely very parochial thinking. . . .bear in mind that there is a big flat mountain here that does obscure the mindand cause blindspots.

The July can get the speculation going even before the noms, it certainly has a touch of magic and everyone wants to win the July and tip the winner, always a great site topic .
