I find it very odd that you hate Liverpool for personal reasons.
I can only assume its another club you once supported and maybe in your youth you had a disastrous trial
with them.Who are the people that claim Liverpool are strong?

Seriously is that your argument you going to use, Manchester United has bought players :S , so me one team in the EPL or any other league in the world for that matter which ahs not bought players and are surviving both financially and on the field of player but fielding ONLY home grown players.

All anti Manchester United supporters need to realise that the need to support any team that plays against Manchester United is unwarranted as whats the point of screaming from the rooftops I support Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Barcalona or Real Madrid but will support any team that plays against Manchester United :S

So go and work out the teamsheet for tonight and realise that the Manchester United team was assembled over a number of years and not overnight like the also rans .....<

Who is arguing about who United has bought.
Doesn't bother me where or how much money they spend,to stay at the top you need to spend..
There's only one clanner that harps on about money being spent and he supports Man United and Brighton...

Regarding the investments put into Chelsea,Man City and previously Blackburn(tits up),surely it has improved The Premier League and
made it more competitive..
Would you prefer these clubs to have no backing and Man United to win the league every year..
When Abramovich took control and Mourinho won the league,breaking every record Ferguson admitted the bar was raised and
that United needed to invest,which he did.Thus improving your squad..
I'm surprised that educated fans still go on about investments and there club also spend big in the transfer market.

Without such investments I would not have been at Old Trafford watching Chelsea receiving a guard of honour from United players..

Dave... 50th time... I have absolutely zero, nil, no, none, nothing, nada, zilch etc problem with money in football. Nor with any club who benefits from these benefactors provided they fully accept how they attained their status (as you do). As you say it can be healthy for the game provided it is used sensibly and clubs grow from it. However, I would add that if United were not so great then you would have the two benefactor clubs sitting at the pinnacle with little competition. That scenario would imply that you would only get success if your club is purchased by a benefactor and, off the top of my head, that does not seem to be be good for the game and it is probably seen that way by the likes of many a club who previously would have been seen as on a par or above the likes of Chelski and Sh1ty. And the funds these clubs have are almost limitless, very tough to compete with. United have always been "wealthy" but far far far from having a bottomless pit in which to delve.
