Craig asked me to post his thoughts on his runners...
We have some really nice runners tonight. In the 2nd Peregrine King will run well from a good draw. Beaten less than 2 lengths from the outside draw last time out and is now drawn 1. Mr Smartypants has been disappointing so just hoping for an improvement. Striking Storm seems to prefer Greyville and has been working nicely so is a must in everything. Neck or Nothing does pull hard so we have come i little shorter and put a small set of blinkers on. Seems to work well with them so he must also go into everything. Caitlin could be anything. Shows nothing at home but won 1st time out like a good filly. Does seem to have come on from that 1st run so I am looking forward to seeing her run. Another who is a must in everything.

The form behind the Vercingetorix race is quite strong, 3 subsequent winners. They are obviously trying to qualify him for the Guineas and tonight is his acid test against two fair horses. Honestly, i would stick with the tried and tested horses at this stage, Act Fast is my fancy.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I think he is very good and that is why he was nominated as 1 of only 2 entries by his stable(

So can you clever okes who know racing in KZN please tell me about the setting of the false rail tonight - will it assist horses that come from behind, is a wide draw maybe not that bad tonight?

10m rail is moderate, so they will probably still stay middle in rather than get thrown to the outside rail like they do at 15 - 17m's. The trouble with coming from behind at Greyville is mainly the tight bend and short straight imo. Boy are we going to have course specialists when the polytrack goes in :
