On what looks like a tricky card considering first timers in the first few races and the handicaps very closely rated, here are my selections.

R1 Captain of all-too short for me, first timers unknown.

R2 Bez Valley @ 14/1,barring first timers

R3 Rainier @ 9/2,barring first timers

R4 Trix of the trade @10/1,baring first timers.

R5 7X10X12X11

R6 Halfway to heavan

R7 Augusta National

R8 CONCATENATION

R9 GRECIAN MOON

Morning Clanners

I have played a yankee and a treble as follows :-

Captain Of All X Cherry On The Cake X Concatenation X Eminence Day

Captain Of All X Swanee River X Master Of My Fate - MOMF worries me a bit, in that, because of his price tag, i think it will be more of an educational run rather than murdering the horse to win it's first start. So if he does win, it will be on ability alone. I think he is 17/10 purely on his breeding and the bookies are afraid - has anyone heard how good it may be? Drier has brought out first timers that have started deep in the red, that fact that this one is not, concerns me, consequently i have not played big on the treble.

Break a leg guys.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I fancy two outsiders for ATC place double: Apple Pie in the first and Spin A Coin in the last. 25/1 and 12/1.

Cunha Stable:
LLC Racing
RUNNERS 19th Clairwood Race course. Race 2 Grandeur will be needing the run. She is well but needs a bit more distance as well.Collen storey claims the 4kgs. Wow Factor should go very close. We are confident that we should have a good race from her if all goes well and she loads through the pens accordingly. Bernard fayd'herbe up. Race 3 Kingstoncome we are hoping run up there this time. Some improvement in his last run bearing in mind he lost both his shoes. He will be trying the sand next week.

Marcus opted in race 1 not to ride Jooste redhot Captain of all favorite , he rides first timer BRAAMBILLY for owner Braam van Huysteen

I have seen stranger things happen ,treat with caution , do not throw all eggs in the bucket to start the meeting
