Definitely not doing for all races, infact just this one lol...
R1 The Barbadian would not have to be special to win imo and there has seemingly been a little market support but has a high draw and the WR's record is not the best in the world. Tuscan finished ahead of Malachite who has finished infront of Ninja Warrior and Impeccable who have in turn finished ahead of Giant Empire by 1.5l and Augusta Pines by 2l. Worth noting GE was on debut that day and was slowly away, if breaking on terms GE could be the best of that bunch but the overall form of the three with more experience can hardly be rated as formidable. Tuscan has also finished ahead of Anaconda Moon who has finished infront of Sengwa, even with Mosia up the form should, all things being equal, be confirmed, especially being 2nd run after a rest though it could be argued Sengwa will strip fitter for the run. There has also seemingly been a little outsider support for Money Never Sleeps but this one was thrashed by Tiger Play who has previously finished 5l behind Stormy Cape. Unless The Barbadian is good enough on debut, it is hard for me to see beyond the front two in the market, though being a WR race anything is possible on the day. Semela is a decent WR and has a 50% win record for the trainer and on that basis I give the nod to Tuscan.... Tuscan x Stormy Cape x Giant Empire

Shot Frodo... I will have small nibble then as I did not see the race, and goes the extra 200m's today and will know more about it. Climb on New Guy

Have done that treble ShezaP (tu) a little bit of hope required though me thinks esp with Maeve from that draw

In 80 days check out the form of the 1st 2 runs it's great form (check out ziparano form 4'5l to soft falling)
This should be no race
But I'm not sure about 2nd run after rest with de kock yard as you normally need 21 days for it not to really affect performance this is 14 days
The owner who's not short of a few pound kept the horse for 14 mths and excluding vets fees so must be something special

Not the easiest of cards imo made even trickier by a lot of those I consider as strong contenders having high draws and few with low draws looking particularly appealing... if low draws have a significant advantage today then be prepared for some major unfathomables!! Also don't like the fact I have nominated a couple to follow-up maiden wins which I generally don't "recommend". Think I'll lie very low today

AFM is a local radio station which happens to be the best thing that has happened to radio since the days of Swazi Music Radio in the 70's.... and this morning they were having a 'vote off' for which song should be used to play out the morning show. The two songs in question were Eye of the Tiger or SMOOTH CRIMINAL. Now the strange thing is that I listened to BOTH these songs on my MP3 player whilerunning this morning :
.... So I had a small wager on Smooth Criminalout of pure superstition
...oh yeah, Eye of the Tiger got the vote.
