Another horse that he rode when he was an apprentice was Chaplin who set the pace for the 1998 Gold Cup winner Bella Bianca. Tony Millard trained the winner and the pace maker Chaplin. Turning for home Chaplin duly swerved to the outside rail while Bella Bianca went down the inside.

His win on M Roberts one time winning grey mare at clairwood park some years ago does it for me cant remember her name may hve been desdemonia or something.
