After a frustrating week punting wise.I thought I was playing the crossbar challengei hit it so many times.
We have The Nordea Masters for The European Tour and The PGA Tour heads to Muirfield Villlage for
The Memorial Tournament.
ive structured bets on my idea of value,players like Kuchar have a chance but he is shorter in the betting than last
week and Tiger wasn't playing last week
We will start in America where this Nicklaus designed track is a 2nd shot golf course and players must
have a decent short game,bad driving doesn't get punished as much at MV.
Greens are very undulating and par 3s are difficult.
Tiger Woods has 5 wins and three top 5s in 13years,at 9/4 to win he is no value..
I think ive uncovered some value bets and UK bookies have a separate market WITHOUT WOODS

1.Brendon De Jonge
has had 8 top 25s this season,ranks 17th in greens hit,26th for scrambling and and inside top 20 for par 3s.
he is yet to miss the cut in 4 attempts.
Ive played ew at 80/1 without Tiger.

2.Graham De Laet
he faded on sunday after a promising start on a track that didn't suit,currently 2nd on tour in driving and greens hit
ive played ew at 90/1 withoiut Tiger.

3.Ernie Els
Makes hes 20th start at MV,had 5 top 15s and last week at the BMW he showed signs of a revival
ive played ew 66/1 without Tiger

4.Rickie Fowler
Always plays well on Nicklaus designed tracks.He is a bit unpredictable,but if the putter starts working he could go well.
Currently 45/1 without Tiger

Ive gone with Mikko Owen at Nordea. 12th last week in BMW so hopefully finding form and he did well last year finishing 3rd here.

I havent backed an outright winner at Memorial but starting with Jim Furyk to win his 3 ball today. Loads of experience at this course and needs a good tournament if he has any chance of making the pres cup.

Furyk - 1st 3 ball i have gotten wrong in 3 weeks.

Da Laet was sitting pretty at -4 with one to play,then did a double bogey..-2 not bad
De Jonge was going along great then had a bad 2 holes
Els and Fowler are sitting average,Fowler missed a lot of putts.

I backed Rose in he's 3 ball with Rory and Bubba Watson,Rory is way off,shot 78 and track doesn't suit Watson.
Watson gave me a real scare shot -1 to Roses -2
Backed Da Laet in he's 3 ball,but the 6 on 18 was a knife in the guts,he lost by one.:X
