No Worries,Gitiano,Rock Coctail,The King and I have both the Gauteng and Kzn form.
One needs to work around these formlines to point at a possible winner.
There is way too much energy etc around the top two and i would be looking for one that has been tried more and coming into this race better prepared then its last few.
I wont leave out Silvano's jet.

I think IF CTN stays (as mentioned above, the Derby maybe not absolute proof that he does stay), he will win, IF V stays he will be right there, but what if neither of them stay?

In that case, I'm looking for a horse that definitely sees out the trip, has a nice draw and comes into this race racing fit with something to prove to get into the July; for me that horse is Rock Cocktail - ran to 101 in the 1900 so barring CTN and V is right up there as far as class is concerned; yes Delpech is on V, but he was also on Welwitchia last week (and I'd like to forget what happened there)

I have not changed my mind and still believe Karl buggered up big time last time,[my opinion only]
But he'll set the record straight today
CTN can fight and that is the one plus i look for in a horse

Now you go Karl,no excuses AND NO 4TH PLACES PLEASE!!!:D

According to most posts, stamina concerns for Ctn and V.
I feel both stay but whether they stay as well as others at this stage of their career is more
of a concern.
I feel the Classic form doesnt reflect the best of the three
year olds.
That excludes LS/T/Git/War Horse/AS/NW in my calculations.
A line through American Storm suggests that
Wylie Hall will be a huge runner.
5/2 for a top four showing is the best bet of the card

Great thread and really looking forward to the race.

Race is wide wide open i.m.o.

The main dangers to CTN and V'TORIX have terrible draws. I will throw Pat.Rebel and Wylie Hall into the mix for value.

Expecting a very hot pace.

not a mention from ANYONE about WAR HORSE.......... perhaps he did not stay the 2400 last time, but this is now 2000

he is drawn pole at # 1, a big plus me thinks. ( lets see how he fares against TELLINA - draws reversed )

i think he is value E/W - 2/ 1 place ( first 4 ) i will have an E.W

a good run here may get him into the JULY field.

happy punting guys.

Well maybe if you guys put your money where your month is & back your fancy, CTN would not be the favorite
