Easy, De Kock pretty much said what you mentioned above, he also wasn't sure if Vercing would go much further than the 2000m...

Karl may be a great jockey in his own right but he just doesn't know how to ride this horse. Please put striker on this horse and he will be much better. I think he is better than the winner. He just needs the right pilot.. And that's striker..

Fully agree , MDK interview said a lot more improvement to come . i think punters will always try to beat an unbeaten horse but his class shown in 4 runs sets him apart from the rest()

okay thats cool, as i said i have never herd a post race interview on this horse. I also like it when MDK says "not sure" thats better than WONT. If he is a big baby (now confirmed) then everything about him is a mystery, probably has not been really pushed yet.

dude, really? I agree Karl is lengths inferior to Striker BUT from maiden to G1 in 4 months deserves a bit of credit?

vercengeterix is nowhere near the class of mdk 3yo winners of july such as bold silvano igugu greys inn etc...this is an average bunch of 3yos so i wouldnt get comparing to the greats of the turf

Pirates they said the same about the 3 year olds in those years , not comparing but he is impressive and Delpech at presentation was quite speechless at how well he quickens up when asked to go... only time will tell
