Surely 6/10 Colour of Courage to run in the 1st 4 has got to be the way to go in the 3rd race.. was still very green when winning the Umkhomazi Stakes (Group 2) over 1200m dropping back in distance after winning a 1300m first time out,His trainer made no secret of the fact that the 1450+ is going to suit this horse and imo the Marshall debutant is going to need to be every bit as good as his reputation to beat Colour...Jockey Veal rides a lot of work for the Marshall yard and will no doubt know what he is up against..11/10 Colour to place and VC to win ..love it
Greyville 1300
Scottsville 1200
Give everything but up!

I'm very keen to see Mohave Princess run in the 2nd. She really impressed me on debut and I LOVE when they win unsupported, or relatively unsupported anyway.

Next best would have to be Variety Club. Something extra ordinary would have to happen, like PJ running back to a rating of 114.....Not sure that can happen :)

In the Cup Trail I think General Sherman is the right one. He has good form, coming from the 1900 where he was drawn badly, slow away and not suited to Greyville.

Good racing!!!

Stiker is an interesting booking on Caymen Island, this horse may be a bit below the class of some in this field but I tell you what if Strydom can keep him covered up he WILL be flying at them the last 100 metres or so... The perfect jockey to ride this horse imo... I'm including in my P6...;)

Greg, I think he will suit the horse but my concern is the Govender form. They just are not firing at the moment. In that race if you take a position that General Sherman cannot win, then good luck in finding the actual winner. Very tough race!

Call me an idiot, but having listened to V. Marshall on USO, he seemed quietly confident that Exelero can pull this off. Maybe i'm over analysing, but Marshall did acknowledge throwing it in the deep end, and I question why against winners and around the turn first time out, if it doesn't have a winning chance, when he could have entered it in the first race over 1200m, up the straight and against lesser company, if it is the experience he wanted the horse to gain? I think this is the right one.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
