That's not my job at all - I pay for DSTV and this guy is paid to do just that - There were only ...SEVEN horses in the first Race - I don't think we should excuse this just because it is a difficult vocation and I don't think punters should have to study the colours on the card themselves when there are people paid to do so. Most callers are great but some are dreadful and that should not be tolerated just because we are in Africa. I doubt the UK or USA would accept this - I know people will say that the poor guy only gets to call once per week but that is not an excuse
have a look at the runon of the first and then decide if he should only call the first two home (incorrectly to boot) and not mention the 9/20 fav who runs a clear second

Gents I have complained about this man every time he has called a race. Here is my opinion about what is going on in Zim. You know who the real commentator is, the white sounding due, not very good but he gets it right more times than not.
Now you have this man who they LET call the first race on every card. He is obviously being brought through the ranks to be a commentator someday but he is struggling to say the least.

There is at least 10 seconds of quiet time during any race he calls. He just cannot do the job, but that won't stop them from forcing him to......

Anyway I kind of feel horrible for him because he must know whats going on around him.......I wonder if they can't help him somehow, school him or something. It is helluva embarrassing for him I would imagine?
