Is this the race that the Tarry filly ran 2nd or 3rd a few years back?

Was the nunthorpe that National Colour was 2nd in
But the race was not run at York it was run at Newmarket
because York was unfit to race for a while.
Actually the winner of the 2008 race Bordelesscot has just
come out of retirement because he hasn't settled and could
run in this years race

In case you guys are interested, I've put together a little blog, SAf Racehorse, to keep track of SAf-breds running in GR races outside of South Africa. It's more of a record of top three finishes than a blog.
If you visit, feel free to let me know if you find errors or ommissions.

Thanks Hibs. Got the weights?
With the run under the belt, I think The Apache could make up a lot of that 4 lengths he was beaten by Grandeur last time, but maybe not all of it.

Great stuff Sabre. I went there and was especially glad to see you are including Singapore. I've added it to my bookmarks. Suggestion (if you've got the time) - how about adding successes overseas by SA-bred jockeys?

Thanks Mav. (tu)
I hadn't considered jockeys (and/or trainers).
Maybe I could add a page for each but it will certainly add to the homework required to keep it up to date. I'll look into it!
Hibs, will Soft Falling Rain become the first SAf-bred to win at Gr2 level in the UK? Hasn't run for nearly 5 months.
