Colin ,well written and very factual totally agree with what you say,I personally have had many issues with Hawkins and was a steward at the time when he was involved in the sale of Newmarket ,he only does what he is told and fleeces his own pocket ,stand up HAWKINS admit all your mistakes you have made and step down from your perch.

@Justin V, I'm sure Lipps also said it doesn't matter if a horse is 1 time, it matters on MR?
But I agree, ds bullshit 1 time winner vs 10 time winner bullshit is disgraceful thinking..

Gold circle/circus reserve the right to invite runners in the dbn july, that's the race conditions, tough for the connections of tellina, jet belle, rock cocktail

They will still have a bumper turnover regardless of what is said

Ok so help me here how does Mr Hawkins say that the handicappers have no idea what they are doing? What on earth does that mean ? Isn't that a bit like racing managers saying that Scottsville is a goat track. I wonder what the Oracle would feel about that? I would be insulted. But then again what do I know. The sad circus continues . Can't wait for the reply on this forum but I know it isn't Likely to happen.

many times during the gallops he asked a selection of trainers if they felt the crop of three-year-olds were below average this year - I maintain that if you have earned a certain MR over the July distance then that should be the criteria or as Mr Bird points out we are."relying on the handicapping system to make racing(punting) decisions."
