A couple of uninspiring cards for the weekend, not so unusual. Cape and Turf meetings these past weeks have been, for the most part, "pish" as Mac might say ;) In truth, I had little enthusiasm when studying following yesterday's "misfortunes" so would not be surprised if drawing a complete blank, am usually poor at CT anyway, just find them dodgem cars unfathomable! lol

Main e/w patent...
T R1 2 Crown Bearer
K R2 3 Arion
K R8 1 Midnight Master

And a couple of hopeful yankees
K R5 8 Count My Luck
K R7 6 Noble Star
T R6 10 Due And Payable
T R8 7 Mystic Tigress

K R6 2 General Jubilation
T R4 4 Chapel Of Love
T R5 9 Chill Factor
T R9 7 Ohiki Bay

I doubt any will find today's racing particularly enjoyable but let's hope at least some find it profitable!

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Potala Palace is an interesting runner, can it lead from start to finish and win by the distance?

I also feel an apprentice will win this race, I am leaning towards Tiger Attack
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Very few true bookmakers in spite of numbers..........Roman Express gets a run in the 4th and not a bookmaker knows how to price it ..............all doing SP until their one and only price-fixer tells them what to do...........................lol

do like the chances of the Van Zyl runner Jet Fever. If you look at fav last run couple lengths behind in 80 days which probably at this stage equates to chances of Augusta Pines which in turn held by Scientist(very good place try).Scientists run to Wunout should also bolster the run of Jet Fever in the Isobar race.I wonder if Isobar Pierneef and Wunout aren't superior to Principled Man ats.
