Race 7: Goodies horse ALDRIC beat Master of my Fate by 1 length on the 19 may and is 2.5KG's better off today. The Goods horse then came out and ran a fair run behind Mercurial Brave and today Muzi who won on em takes the ride. Admittedly Master of my Fate does seem to have more scope for improvement but still the betting is far out for me...:S

MOMF - evens
Aldric - 25-1

Well spotted Greg, and last time out was well out at the weights and had a very inexperienced appy up, worth a few Rand EW. (tu)

Englander sand and turf offers different challengesAlthough form turnovers do occur regularly in all disciplines and I might have been talking without having studied yesterday the impression I had was no matter how much you tried studying you were always going to get stung. If you surmise yesterdays comments that is what happened.A good example was the third yesterday. The form turnaround between the winner and Rolling Ruby(liked by many). How can you put your money down when the addition of variables cannot be used with any measure of certainty.Other such examples will not be difficult to find.Neither can any sense be made of it and one would have to be a sangoma to guess.
Coming back to todays card fta will occur but with enough time and effort a more clearer less topsy turvy picture could be had.
We obviously have different tactics but the one I am using presently has shown a bit of promise as was seen on Monday.

The other thing E is would a different time of day and different state of mind altered your opinion.I would never have a glance at a new card either after a nonsense sort of day or with tired eyes

My opinion is that the Vaal sand track has become a dumping ground for trainers that have run out of ideas with their charges.

lol BH enough already >:D< yes we approach cards in different ways and no it would make little difference to me when I looked at this card, 5 maidens and a juvenile plate with very little form to go on will remain exactly that whenever I look at it.
