I like the look of today's card and hopefully we can roll a few of the short priced favorites and make the PA pay. My PA today works out to R288:
Leg 1: 4,6
Leg 2: 1
Leg 3: 1,5,8
Leg 4: 3,5
Leg 5: 3,5
Leg 6: 5,9,12
Leg 7: 2,4,5,14
I am also playing an EW yankee today:
Race 3: 1 Moves Like Jagger
Race 5: 5 Storm Warning
Race 6: 5 Dazzling Moon
Race 7: 12 Silent Angel
Play well. (tu)

Turffontein 08th August 2013
Race 1 : Roman Express WIN @ 16/10
Race 2 : Bluebell Glade WIN @ 15/10
Double @ 6/1. My type of double for a decent stake.
Eachway chances (Single bets)
Race 4 : William Conquest @ 28/10 - four time winner running mostly against maiden winners :S
Race 7 : Silent Angel @ 14/1 and 2/1 a place (4 places)... WOW!!
Good luck to all (tu)

I'm giving Carnaby Street one more chance today, going eachway and hopefully the place bet will cover my loses on this horse the last 3 times i have backed it.

PK, I love your confidence... IMO Gothic would have to be something very special being a maiden winner despite running in the July, I wouldn't take a bet even if they were offering 20/1 on Gothic.

Agreed Greg included it in my PA recon could be value at 10/1. (tu)

Fancy Storm Warning strongly here, ran 3 times at the course for 2 easy wins and a 2nd. Biggest danger for me is Eastern Cobbler.

Agreed Shrek (tu) Storm Warning for me likewise. Gothic has been beaten by a few in this field already namely Winter Desire and Balse and has a to lump an extra 4 kg's just on those runs. Storm Warning should be a tough nut to crack here.
