Horse racing has always been fraught with the integrity issue......where you have big money in play.....there will always be sceaming and those that look to handle the uninitiated.....:

The stuff of great stories....... let's not run away with ourselves with "shadows & conspiracy theories" etc....

I think that one of racings problems is that there are not enough of these stories.... we pretend that horses dont get set up for a punt or that punters dont punt on jocks info but to me these stories make racing interesting...... Want to get people interested? then tell stories about pick 6 sindicates that invest large sums in carryover pools, big doubles and trebbles that have been landed and the lighter side of colourful personalities in racing etc. ......

The problem is that if we tell the stories all the ppl who consider themselves racing insiders
will scream proof proof proof and treat us like idiots

when I see a jock at a bucketshop must I take a pic?
When the jock ask to lay him a bet and tells another punter a diff horse
must I record the conversation?

Just popped into the local tote and heard about the ending to the farmer story. Could not stop laughing.Maybe Titch could come on and tell us what really happened.Also about the" Fradd"imposter story.Or should we wait till he appears on Winning Ways?

The amusing thing is that in one particular thread where Titch was painting the entire game as squeaky clean ,I challenged him that ,having been involved in racing to the extent that he has,he had to have known about / heard about manipulations of horses and people for gain.
He acted very precious but it turns out he was one of the "handlers" of people himself..................lol <
