Hi

I am in Englander's corner here. What p1sses me off, which I suppose it is better than getting p1ssed on, is the BRAGGING after a Race, especially when upto 5 or 6 Horses are tipped.

If one is so confident of ur selections wtf would U give them away for a small % of the winnings when U could have the pot, does not matter whether with the TOTE or Boohmaker. Ah NO RISK at all as all U are doing is playing with other people's money. That is why a Tipster can tip a R 30000-00 PA or a R 10000 JP etc.

This is only my opinion and not getting at anyone. Everyone has rights but there is also Laws, Rules, Regulations that one has to abide by, yes even on ABC.

BS, lot of compliments in there, thank you.

Not easy to answer the rest but...
1. Without sounding rude to you or others, do a blog similar to those that I do and then you might get a little more of an idea how infuriating it can be when you see 3000 views and 250 posts by 25 clanners and how rare it is that someone spots something I have written and says yes/no/true, but etc..? I know for a fact some of the other regular posters also get farked off with it, I am just happy to spout about the leeches etc publicly! :?
2. I have said a number of times... I know nothing about horses or racing. My posts are general info that anyone can find. I do them partly to help myself but I also see it as a little bit of pay-back to those who do contribute and have a much better understanding of horses etc than I do. I use their knowledge etc and I hope that if they read my waffle then occasionally it may throw up something they haven't seen. I do not do the blogs for those I consider leeches, they are an unfortunate by-product so to speak lol But, please do not confuse someone like yourself as a leech, there is a huge difference between those who do contribute from time to time when they have something to say and those that just take, take, take. You state... "Surely that's what a forum is for. To give opinions tips advice whatever and hopefully that authorities and others use the complaints and posts to fix the overall product" ... exactly how I feel BS but does it happen much, in either instance?
3. It might sound strange but I hope by calling them leeches it may bring one or two with a conscience out of their swamps and on to the forum
4. Specifically regarding "tipsters" there is this thread, a Ziets thread and the one that Greg bumped back up. WTF??? Three threads basically on the same subject? and nothing to do with helping each other. I am actually one who supported Ziets on this forum and I think he is a sad loss to it, I have no doubt that he would say I was supportive of him and remain so. That does not mean I want everyone posting what he has said on his facebook page etc and promoting his, or those of others, "service" on here or going on and on and on about it. Its boring quite frankly and Bob, imo, has made it quite clear, he doesn't really want such posts on the forum, I find it disrespectful to him and Dave that, assuming I am right, clanners continue to ignore his not so subtle requests to stop.
5. I can be a moody, opinionated, bad tempered idiot with too much time on my hands and insomnia issues... and I like to wind people up, but I'm a pretty decent guy beneath it all... honest (:P)

Sorry for the lengthy reply but you know me, once I start I just go on and on and on >:D<

Engles,my son is studying law and to be good at law you need to be argumentative, thick skinned and opinionated.

Arise Lord Engles of The Sussex Clan..

Could you help me with a speeding ticket,I reckon you could get me off..
I totally agree with the stance,if you want to use tipsters, use them.they are not for me.
I use someone on here who doesn't tip,but gives you a bit more information that is unavailable to me,I also
look to see what Engles,Frodo,THH,GB and the owners post.Never Scotia, too short in betting.:D
If your a seller of tips use Facebook, twitter and other social media sites...
If your a average Joe punter, like most of us keep it on the forum.

My nap today is that Paul Gascoigne and Kenny Sansom will be pissed by the time Engles types another message.

DTF... I am argumentative and good at it :) I am opinionated and always right :) I am not particularly thick skinned, I have a heart but, I say what I think and won't cower from "issues" :)
This is all quite funny to me, I woke up this morning and told my partner to be weary of me today, I just felt "irritated" lol

SHE said, if you ever meet that DTF bloke, cut his gonads off for me please, fry them and then feed them to him in a nice bowl of spaghetti and meatballs.

Apologies to other clanners
