Mr Hawaii I think it was Doc Craven that used To say " Looks st the scoreboard"
<
To be fair note My ratings as stated many Times before is based on the highest probability TO PLACE , I do not play wins and did not pick Siddharth as a top bet to win... It was a standout bet to place and duly oblidged. The fact that it beat what you believe is a great horse might very well be true and I Will be sure to back it for a place if it comes up tops in My ratings in 2-3 weeks time (tu)

Lesley Styrng is not a great horse but the horses that beat it two runs back will be feature race runners( ROMAN EXPRESS is going for the RTR Cup according to his trainer who rates him highly) - I could understand if you made a case for this horse because of breeding or because you had seen it work but to ignore PROVEN form and select a Ftimer as your top place selection does not fly with me - LS had earned stakes in three of 4 starts and to much stronger than this. Agree to disagree

Not disputing the fact that you had it on top of your ratings. It is the fact that you could say the horse was an outstanding bet, based on your ratings, that is a fluke. See: FIRST TIMER.

outstanding PLACE BET to be exact on top of the ratings by 4 points or 80% to be exact with a return of 90%...anyway I am tired of typing...

I think have an idea what you are on about after seeing the post race interview.
You want to elaborate?

Don - I did not here the interview, and I'm not sure what point you are trying to make - are you saying that a trainer should not run a first timer if he thinks it's going to win ?

the horse was backed from 12 to 22-10 so the support was there for all to see - I understand the need for barrier trials but the responsibility also lies on the punter to take note of betting moves on a f/t - I too did not see the interview .

How does one tell actual claims from bookies shortening a horse because of R100 placed on interbet
