Good luck to the Shams, I see EBRO tops the boards after the scratching of NAVISTAR but do believe he's roughly 2 to 3 seconds slower than a few others so SANDY CELEBRE looks nice EW value in this field.

Looking at a few doubles and trebiles... I have decided to take a small ATC on the following;

Race 1 : BRIAR KING

Race 2 : M'LORDS THROAT

Race 4 : OLIVIAN

20/1 and holding thumbs (tu)

Looking elsewhere I will be taking a bigger ATC on the following;

Fairview Race 2 : M'LORDS THROAT

York Race 4 : SHEA SHEA

8/1 or maybe more, just depends what SHEA SHEA opens at (likely 7/2)

Good luck to all with runners today!! Best of luck to all clanners... Break a Leg B)-

Lady Charity - Last win as a 3 year old over the 1600m @ Durbanville, she won at odds of 40/1 and was carrying 58.00 kg's. Her form thereafter has been nothing to write home about and would be a strong contender to finish in the bottom three, lol... Just kidding ;) Honestly anything can win Race 5 IMO, field in all exotics.

Surely Ebro has got Sandy Celebre held on her penultimate run? The more I look at this field I'm not so sure to banker in the PA - LE Var keeps catching my eye.

Looking closely @ Race 3 cause it does present nice EW Value

Selecting only horses with chances IMO;

FOREIGN SOVEREIGN 1000m time 57.66 58.00kgs - 4.50kgs worse off

JELLA LOOCHEE 1000m time 57.51 59.50kgs - 2.50kgs worse off

PUNTA DEL ESTE 1000m time 60.55 56.5kgs - 2.00kgs worse off

SANDY CELEBRE 1000m time 57.42 53.5kgs - 3.50kgs worse off

REGAL MAN 1000m time 58.94 55.50kgs - 3.50kgs better off

SWIFT WONDER 1000m time 59.20 57.50kgs - 5.00kgs better off

EBRO 1000m time 58.94 55.50kgs - 3.00kgs better off

Looking at the above times and weights (bearing in mind i've tried to calculate these on GOOD surfaces and not slightly soft or soft)

Selection seems on paper a quartet race between EBRO and REGAL MAN with SANDY CELEBRE and SWIFT WONDER filling the quartet, I have a slight preference and only a very slight preference for REGAL MAN and might just be the best EW bet @ a mammoth price. I wouldn't write EBRO off considering that he has run a good second on a surface similar to today.

You can always find a reason, e.g. he's run the fastest 1400 time in this field considering their four last races ;) [Don't quote me on this ...]
