So what do you do on a Sunday afternoon?

Watching the last of the Ashes Test on TV, while I wait for my chicken breasts (marinaded overnight in lemon juice and chili flakes) to grill ... they are already sending off a delishus smell ... when I've eaten I'll phone my Mum and later I'll play some online Scrabble. It's been a quiet sort of day.

Well mrs S did the magic today and now having a large JWB in a brandy goblet ( my fav glass for all drinks)

Walked up Table Mountain. .Platteklip Gorge.... and down again. Not for the faint hearted. Then pizza and Peroni draught at favourite eatery in Tamboerskloof, home...recovery nap then some johnny on the rocks while planning week and then 8 o clock movie cuddled under a blanket with da missus.

How long (hours) is the walk up Platteklip Gorge ???

Roughly 2 hours up and 1:20 down. Depends on what kind of shape one is in.We took 1h50 up and 1h05 down.

In my shape can I just go down.

I battle to stay awake for that long!!

I call my sundays, super sundays, hit the gym, straight from there meet some mates for a joint (weed) and amstel, then go for lunch to any good restaurant and a draught, then off to the tote play a few races, as I don't play midweek, n den watch d footie, its amazing to know that I win more money on a sunday when I'm most relaxed.
