Sidestep's run 2 runs back over 1000m at this course was quite good - slow away and made up some good ground through the race in a stronger field than this .
This distance is also much better for him .
I'll join you on this one .

Good to see a couple of positives for ones I like this morning. Bella was also very unlucky in penultimate, no run. Sidestep if running at best must be a big runner though there has to be a question over whether the stable is firing on all cylinders at the moment.
And the biggest non-shock of the day was Bertie's Weekly being scratched. I assume this is correct as shown... I see from the betting cards BW have applied no deduction but, despite Legatee coming in at half the price of Berties, Hwood have applied a 15% deduction... that just has to be wrong, I simply can't see how anyone can justify a deduction in such circumstances, perhaps they will be good enough to look again and waive the deduction?
Hope they run well for you, those with runners (tu)

I confirmed with Bettingworld now and there is no deduction , apparently they way up the scratched horse versus the reserve runner and apply the deduction accordingly .

Can anyone tell me the better draws today over the straight? How long is the straight at Arlington?
