I think that we need to take advantage of the P6 carryover and the 2nd last day of couplings in the P6 so I will play today.
My thoughts:
The banker for me is Dover Beach in the last leg - really solid form in first 3 runs and then a run in the juvenile feature at Greyville on July day - I think that run should be ignored given the strength of the field and the going at Greyville that day - so this will be my banker today. Races 5, 6 , 7 and 8, look tricky - I don't think a walk in the park for COTC in race 5 - possible vaccinations and I think a race that is more competitive than it looks. Races 6 , 7 and 8 look impossible IMHO.
In the 4th not quite sure about RR - may be an ass smeller ( a horse that tends to run 2nd very often) so will take 2 perms - one with it a banker and the other with some cover - so my two perms will look like this:
5 x F X F x F X F x 15 (DB should start favourite) - 5% = R 560,00
1,5,11 x F X F X F X F x 15 - 5% = R 1680,00
What do you guys think ?

I won't be surprised if the P6 is a carry-over; especially if Regal Rose get's rolled (I'd also back her up with the Erasmus coupling at least, and maybe even New Religion who has has shown lots of pace, so may be suited to the 1000 from a 1 draw). In the last leg it's definitely not a sure thing that Dover Beach will start tote favourite, so imo if you fancy her, you would need to include her :S

have seen dover beach before and she is a very small filly so imo with 60kg and draw 13 she has it all to do

R5, with the apprentice allowance of 4.0kgs, I think Cherry On The Cake is well in here, what do you guys think?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Does look the right one on form, but hard to know how fit she is - I slightly prefer Mystic Tigress in a very open race, where I would not feel safe if I don't have the field in the P6 and JP :S

Strikers rides seem a bit bizarre to me... small stables, gets off horses he rode a few times prior... {scratches head in bemusement}

Race 3 is a competitive maiden .
I've gone with Quad Bay each way - perfectly course and distance suited , well drawn and last run was his best yet when close second to a good sort and clear of the rest .
I am wary of the improving 3 year olds in the field .
