Odds on favourites @ Scottsville is a recipe for disaster..Tommy Armour vs Sentinel springs to mind but having said that Surefire has to be the most apt name of any runner on the card other than that pass this meeting by imo...

race 1 and on a line thru minister of magic then malted and bolted shd be favourite as it holds obligation by a few lengths ,big priced horses are la sonadara whose first run c and d has produced winners and red ice who ran close to minister of magic on the mercado formline...race 2 and poivre might be value depending if the form of its 1st run stands up in the first race...surefire in the 4th looks past the post, the 6th race and imperial jet if reproducing its last run will go very very close ..the 3rd horse hacked up by 7 lengths next time and the 2nd horse in the race of van zyl has been touted as a classic horse..the 8th race and captain on the run has a capped rating having recieved the max penalty of 6pts last time and also never got penalised like garibondy did for beating older horses as a juvenile and before the 6 pound hike,,,as titch says the only problem is the course which has beaten superstars in the past...
