Pirates. I'm not really having a go at the connections, but on this site 1 or 2 trainers have advised us of inocculations and warned us to be careful. So, if a hotpot favorite runs a below par race, and we are left in the dark, why blame the journos? I'M happy to take it on the chin. But the guys in the know are deliberately keeping info from us. Maybe we should refrain from punting for the 2 months when they legally inject. Not meaning to create an uproar, but just asking for transparancy

100% - You cannot expect trainers to make announcements on their horses unless they are asked(or unless the NHRA makes a ruling that states that the official Racing Publication publishes the date of last AHS VAC) - Also where would trainers submit these views? The Journo has a responsibility to call - I will tell you that seldom if ever does a journo actually venture out to the Vaal - Do they call trainers? Hardly ever - Just the other day a Soma horse was making it's debut in steels(normally a sign from that stable that the horse was not ready) Do you think Rod actually asked Joe why the horse was wearing steels? No he rather had a discussion with Julie in which she gave this guy a lesson on why some trainers use allies and others use steels - That is the state in Gauteng since the demise of Freeracer and other publications that actually bothered to use some of the free company airtime to call a trainer or jockey -
