Hey Hibs, u posted for the both of us....Have always been a huge Golden Boy fan and felt he outboxed Mayweather when they fought. Alvarez is a very different type of fighter, so will be interesting. Cant wait. Cmon El Canelo

Mayweather!!!...he has a big mouth but he brings an even bigger fight game...
At his age he should be slowing down and probably is...but it not even noticeable and he's still more than a match for the best of them ...Young or Old!!!
Bring it on Money!!!

Have to agree-every great boxer has to be toppled eventually but everytime I watch Mayweather he seems to have added to his skills-watching his last fight I concluded that, although not as flashy, he was probably a better all round boxer than my 2 previous heroes(Ali and Leonard)
I hope the end isn't on Saturday.......lol
( hard to think of a great boxer that wasn't arrogant.....it appears to be a necessary part of the armory)

The smartest move for Mayweather with regard to his PPV contract is to fight him now. Alvarez is the only man in the world (Pac included) that can give Mayweather a decent run for his money.
I've watched every Mayweather fight and he's been pure class. Oscar was the closest with a split decision and taking the fight to him but still Mayweather deserved to win. People thought Shane Moseley had rocked him early but the Mayweather class was far too strong.
I don't see Floyd getting beat, he really is the best fighter the world has ever seen.

Last year Forbes had Mayweather the world's #1 top sports earner. The list included salaries, bonuses, prize money, appearance fees, licensing and endorsement revenue for the period June 2011 to June 2012. Taxes and agent fees were not deducted".
And, furthermore, interestingly " (he) topped the list after raking in US$85 million. But, Mayweather only fought twice in the past 12 months and spent less than an hour in the ring. And, all of Mayweather's earnings came from his winnings, as he does not have a single endorsement deal".
And all this was earned in one hour!!!
