Looking for some place value in race 1 .

Torotino was 3 lengths behind Hancock's Dynasty last time when drawn deep and racing wide after a rest and gelding .

He has run best at this course and must have a money chance .

Lake Benjamin has also placed here despite having traffic problems , is drawn 1 and Fourie takes the ride .

Race 1: Hancock's Dynasty. We are hoping that he can make amends for last time. He is well and has a fair draw. The older horses have a 5 kg advantage, which brings both Torotino and Lake Benjamin into the picture. Tiger Tops put up a good debut run and will enjoy the extra and he looks the main danger. All of Into the Wind, Emblem Honour, Not Guilty and Warcraft could improve to challenge. Tibet ran a shocker last time, but on previous form is capable.
Race 3: Do you Dance proves that I have immense patience (or stupidity). She should have moved to a weaker centre a while ago, and this will be her last run in CT. She has the services of Glen Hatt which is a bonus, and this is her best distance. A win is too much to hope for after 25 previous attempts, but this a weak field and we hope for a place.
Davyana was bred and still part owned by my stud manager, and I will be happy if she takes this one.

We had a rare day of sunshine yesterday, but the going will still be soft. No wind at present.
Race 2 - I like Tigeress Dance, and the others for the exotics are True Gift, Jet turbine,Evening Rose and Chrisaldame
Race 4-Zambezi Torrent looks a class above the rest, and now jumps from stall 7.
Race 5- Field
Race 6- I am siding with the 3yos- Lanner Falcon and Pemba Island to fight it out. Leta's Bonnet could challenge if she jumps on terms.
Race 7- Field
Race 8- Tough race to finish off. Short list is Matador in Red, Eighth man, Global Express, Venture Var and Born to Rule.
